Hi, Does anyone know this area?
We have seen a property in the Beverly hills urb, however when looking further into it their seems a lot of properties up for sale on a small urbanisation. There is a mixture of residents/holiday homes and one or two empty apartments/town houses.
It looks like a good area to us, with everything but concern is the motorway behind which we couldn't hear, and only a little noise in front from the road, however, this was at holiday time, Could this be a much busier road for commuters?
The Lawyer should do a lot of the ground work but was just wondering if anyone could add anything to put me at ease or enlightening me? Seen a post that the internet might not be much use?

I presume you are referring to Seghers, Estepona ?

I have friends who live in the area but closer to Estepona than the ridiculously named Beverly Hills Urbanisation.

They have no problem with road noise, but it is noisy like the whole of Spain.

The road behind BH is the coast road / Estepona bypass, the motorway / autopista / peaje is further inland. The coast road has a lot of roundabouts which tends to keep the heavy traffic away.

Estepona is a nice area to live,

I was living there many years ago.

Yes, I should get the spelling right - It is Seghers...

I'm less bothered about the name "Beverly hills" It is what it is, however I was surprised to see a number of properties for sale and was just hoping that there wasn't problems there due to the roads, crime or whatever.

It is a big purchase for us but feeling more positive about the area the more research I do.
