Seen it all now
I could hear what I thought was a car chugging along the street and looked to see what sort of wreck it was. A car did indeed pass but behind it was the cuprit of the strange noise. It was a youngster on a motorbike, duely helmetted (unusual around here), the bike was going very slowly and bouncing along behind it was a homemade trailer with two wheels, a flat top and a metal pole fixed to the rear of the bike. I thought that I had seen it all since living here but that was a first. Cannot think what it can be used for because there were no sides on the trailer and there were no obvious signs of an ability to attach anything.

Re: Seen it all now
sounds absolutely surreal.
for a moment i thought you were my next door neighbour on the other side.
on that side we have the home of the local gestor whose office is part of the complex but accessed by the public from the next road, although his home and office are one large and very nice single building across what most people would call 2 plots.
anyway said gestor has a motor car that clanks when started, clanks when running along the road and clanks when it comes to a halt. as the BH said, with his money he should be able to afford something better - but perhaps it is all a marketing ploy
