Scrapping a car?
Can a Spanish car which has an embargo on it be scrapped?
Also does it need to be complete with bumpers, seats and wheels etc?

Hola
I doubt that the scrapyards have a connection to the necessary computers. When I scrapped mine, they gave me the bookwork in just a couple of minutes and they dealt with the town hall etc. All very simple.
As to what they accept, I doubt you have to have everything on it - but would help to have wheels LOL

Interesting, thanks for that. Yes, wheels would make it easier but no point scrapping good alloys.

If you take the wheels off, how will you get it to the scrap yard? If you take all the "good" bits off then there is no profit for the scrap man.
