Does anyone know the term dates for 2010-2011 for spanish schools? also does anyone know the average cost of childcare?
Are youth clubs/scouts/guides etc just run on friday nights in spain?

Here in Galica primaria return on 10 September. But on enquiring at ESO I was told that the Council had not told them what date the school reopens in September!

Crc, what comunidad are you interested in? It may vary, though probably just 1-2 days. As they said, in Galicia will be the 10th for Primary and 17th for Secondary. If you're looking for term dates and holidays, again you need to say where exactly. The first break is usually between 22nd Dec - 7th January, then there's another at Easter (in 2011 will be 18-25 April) and that's it. To that you have to add festivos.

I don't think such a thing exists in Spain, at least not professionally. Kids either go to granny or a nursery school. You can find a decent nursery from about 220€. These are from 0 to 3 years old. State school starts at 3 years old but is not compulsory until 6.
