Just a small point, there is no limit to how many languages a child can learn. In fact each language will get easier to learn. If Spanish will be your childs third language than that is great for them, if it would be his fifth, then even better.

My nephews speak Spanish and Swedish at home, spent a couple of years in French nursery (in France) and now go to Catalan schools, so Catalan is their fourth language (they are 3 and 4 years old). They have no problems whatsoever.
