Default Scam Alert

I answered and ad in this weeks Costa Blanca News for "sales reps and sales managers" involving using the internet, promising large earnings for a few hours a week. It seemed to good to be true and guess what.......!! It's so obviously a scam that I don't think anyone would fall for it. But just in case anyone wasn't aware of this sort of scam and was thinking of getting involved I would post this and say "DON'T!!!!!".

I think you should inform the CBN and bring their attention to the scam. Maybe they have been duped by the advertiser

Generally the phrase is ' if it sounds too good to be true' it generally is!

CBN etc just take the adverts I think. I am sure there is a disclaimer.

Its actually similar to the nigerian "419" scam (google that if you want interesting reading). I will e mail CB News. I would think they refuse ads which are obviously suspect.

For those that don't know, 419 (advanced fee fraud) is serious business, and has even led to kidnappings and killings in the pursuit of money.

However, it's not all bad as sometimes the scammers are so unbelievably stupid, they'll do anything if they think they're on to something. Check out the 419 trophy room:
