My daughter is called Samantha and the reason for that is because I always wanted to be called Samantha after Sam in "Bewitch" and when I was a kid I told everyone to call me Samantha there so if you want me to play games with you girls in the future I think you should let me play now because I am very nearly a Sam I have to stop now because I have run out of breath and I think I need to put my head in a brown paper bag before I collapse

I was named after the witch in Bewitched coz my dad fancied her, apparently i could wiggle my nose when i was younger and i have lived up to being a witch as well .

I used to love Bewitched, and I'm sure I used to do a bit of nose twitching myself
I reckon we must all be about the same age then? I know Sam P and I are (very young 40 somethings!) How about you Sam G?

I'll have to ask my parents tomorrow if Bewitched had any bearing on their choice of name for me?
