Back to the original subject which also comes up the Costa Esuri thread, Ryanair are really naughty about excess baggage, they seem to weigh your bags, accept them, then say you are overweight and have to pay, they give you a paper to take to the pay point, but hold onto your boarding cards, cases have already gone, so you can't do what many people do and transfer some things out of the checked in stuff to hand luggage, witnessed many people suffering having to pay excess, but perhaps that's because they only allow 15kg whereas Easyjet allow 20. Another way you 'pay' for booking a cheap fare. Look carefully at their publicity, they claim to be the 'cheap fares' airline, not the cheap FLIGHTS. We've just looked at flights early next year, can get the the UK, two people for £3 per fare, but when you add it up it equivalents to £46 after taxes etc are added on, Easyjet, with a much higher fare, work out to £47, because of the lower peripheral taxes and additions

Talking Airlines add on`s THOMPSON from Coventry to Alicante,outward fights in January for £8.57 and return for £2.37, but with tax included it works out at £58.95 !( total ,both ways )
