was having a clear out the other day, and came accross a rubic cube.
I have never once managed to do it, Has anybody on this forum succeeded?
Without cheating of course, my son pretended he had done it, but he romoved the stickers and stuck them back to look like he had done it.

Yes - I got a list of instructions which I had to follow religiously. It used to take me about 10 times as long as my nephew who did it by gut feel.
But then he did go on to get a doctorate in pure mathematics at Cambridge.

We have moved house approximately every 2-4 years and because of all the tools and crafty stuff I have, the fact we were always renovating and that we were moving into smaller places we always said getting settled in and arranging things was like doing a tile puzzle. Now we live in a bigger place again but have no storage furniture. I guess now we're trying to do the Rubik's cube!

Saw something on utube, it looked like they kept turning it in the same place, over and over, might be a con though, check it, try it and let us know the results

Some of the original rubiks cubes are quite collectable and may be worth a little more than you think.
Not a lot but not worth throwing out.Make sure yours has the logo on it.

) he went the whole hog and demolished it, leaving the central mechanism totally bare. I picked it up, contemplated, and am still none the wiser as to how to do it! I can do one side and most of another but that's my limit. Ho hum.
