Are you obsessed or something? Have we been talking too much about other restaurants? Why don´t you contact them through their website, I´m sure you know how to find it.

Hi, I'm sorry you were responded to in such an off-hand manner. To answer your question a golf buddy of my husbands saw Gavin yesterday and there is still no news as to when they will re-open. Regards Bryony.

Byrony, there´s really no need to apologize on my behalf, I´m always standing behind my comments.

Maybe they just want the convenience of walking to a restaurant instead of driving.

THAT would be a pleasure! Have a meal, a few drinks and stroll back home (for CE residents). The golf club is good for that - but it would be nice to have a choice - with a different menu and eating/drinking experience.

On another subject.... has anybody got a 'restaurant review' for the new 'fish'n'chips' place where Jags resto used to be? Is it eat in/eat out?... quality?... price? etc...

Thanks
Jon

We heard that Jag is waiting for an extra licence (just gossip), so maybe that is what is taking the time. Would be nice to know though, as CE residents would like an alternative to the golf club

Not having to drive or get a taxi is what we need sometimes,as you say nice meal, few drinks and stroll home, and yes it is nice to have a choice of a couple of different places to go.
