First wall, first side, scratch coat done. Took me 4 hours. If there was an Olympic sport for biting off more than you can chew I would be Gold.
I also let it go off too much before scratching it, so the scratches are about a half a mil deep. And I bought a float that has a sawtooth on two edges for the job but now I wish I'd bought a normal one.
My technique though has gone from woefully inadequate to barely passable.
Couldn't find any PVA so bought Cola Blanca wood glue, no ill effects so far.
I'm going to find someone to help me with this, at this rate I'll still be on the damn underbuild at Christmas.
