Default Removal company recommendations

Hi

I am new to the site but looking for some advice on removal companies, I am sure it is something that has been asked many times before but our 'load' also includes a motorbike so would like a company that can properly cater for it and I haven't managed to find any similar posts.

We have just moved to Sitges and would be looking to transport from Norfolk.

Have looked at a company called St Georges Transport but I can't find any reviews and have seen a lot of negative posts about various removals companies so am obviously dubious!

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Hanna

As Concierges for the Spanish section of BE we would like to say hello and welcome.

BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.

Please let us know if you need any further help.

Check with several, because the prices vary from time to time. Depending on part loads, if someone is going in your direction part loaded or empty you can get a bargain. This means that one who is expensive one day could be cheap another day. You can also use a transport broker, like this one I normally use: Tore Line

Hi Minxie

I can definitely recommend St George's Transport - the one with this website if there happens to be another company of the same name.

I used them to transport some furniture from Guildford to Nerja - the price was reasonable, the communication prompt and clear, they kept me informed of their progress, and turned up exactly when they said they would. Unlikely to need removals again, but if I did I would go back to them.
