As you've posted in the Spain forums previously...I presume Hondon Valley is in Spain. I will therefore move this thread to the appropriate forum.

Hi Emma, if you take the Albatera road out of Hondon de los Frailes as you enter Albatera you come to a roundabout.
Just past the roundabout and before the traffic lights there are two domestic appliance shops. Not sure of the names but one of them has a great range of cooking appliances, right at the back of the shop.
Also have a great range of "white goods". The second shop seem to specialise more in televisions. Both worth a look in.

Its not in Hondon Frailes, its in Albatera. There is one main road that runs through Frailes, right in the centre of it is a T junction that goes up over the mountain (Brilliant views the other side) Take the junction and follow the road over the mountain and down into Albatera.
Alternatively follow the main road into Hondon Nieves, there is a large electrodomestico as you leave the other side of Nieves, or keep going along this road to the roundabout and take either the left turn to Aspe, plenty of shops there, or right turn and go down to Crevillente even bigger town and more shops.

Alicante is far closer, as is Elche. Elche is just down the road from Crevillente. Far better than travelling the 70k or so to Murcia. In fact Elche has the L' Aljub shopping precinct. Plenty of elecrical outlets from Saturn, MediaMarkt all the way to Carrefour where you will get bargains along with the weekly shopping.
But in all honesty there is no need to go further than Aspe or crevillente really unless you want a day out shopping.

FYI> From hondon de los frailes, it is 23Km to Media Markt in Elche, 47Km to Murcia and 60Km to Alicante. Having been to all three, IMHO there is a better selection of electro domesticos in Murcia. The one in Elche is quite small

BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.

, as is Elche.
