If that was the case why did they not authorise the voting beyond 15 years absence to be taken down? You can never believe a Tory!

Possibly because to change the voting rules it has to go through due process? It was this government that said it would ammend this 15 year rule!

It's a security feature to ensure you are who you say you are, if I couldn't give them the full address of the last place I was registered there then I would expect them to deny my request for a postal vote.

It is so important to ensure you are registered to vote for the Brexit referendum. Expats in the EU have very little to gain from an exit and a lot at risk . This is the website to register to vote: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
