Default Rates and utilities

Hi
We thinking about moving to Villalonga, but unsure of the Rates, utilities etc.
Is it expensive?
We are coming from an expensive area and want to cut back and down size our property
Hope someone can help

Property prices and cost of living in Villalonga will be significantly cheaper than more expensive areas e.g. Denia.

Have you considered the cost of buying and selling? It might take many years for you to recover this.

If you contact the Ayuntamiento they will give you info on property taxes. 962 805 004 www.villalonga.es

If you have a specific property in mind, the EA should be able to confirm.

Missile makes a good point regarding buying/selling costs that will be thousands of Euros and I agree if you do the sums I am also sure it will take years to show a profit. But of course, it's up to you.

When I last sold, the EA asked for copies of property tax and utility bills. I expect all good EA ask for these(?) Ask nice and they might share the info with you.
