Default Qustion for the Guy if thats ok

I think my Sky box has given up. When I click on TV Guide all I get is a green screen with lots of lines. Nothing works. Europa TV is working ok via their STB so TV ok.

Guess I might be giving you a ring as I'm just down the road from you.

Sounds like there has been a brief power cut, and the box started to switch off, but the cut was so brief the box came on again...

And due to this it is not 100%, which is sometime why you get coloured lines on the Sky menus.

A Simply reboot of the box (unplug from the power for 15 seconds, then reapply the power) sorts this out usually..

This happens to us practically every day in the UK, I'm going to have to phone SKY and repeat my OAP in penury speech, until someone takes pity on me and sends a guy with a reconditioned box.
