Default Question about urbanisations

This is a question for a friend who lives on an urbanisation.
when paying community fees, is there a ruling that a certain percentage needs to be put aside for emergencies? If so at what percentage and where does it come in the "Ley Horizontal"?

Thanks folks

It could be a rule specific to that urbanization I guess - you'd have to get a copy of their rules.

I thought 'ley horizontal' was all to do with blocks of flats and not so much urbanizations where there tend to be villas rather than pisos?

There is an excellent book "You and the Law in English" by David Searl which has a couple of chapters on the horizontal property law. A section of which is devoted to large mixed urbanisations where you might have Bloques, town houses, Casa's and commercials and yes they are included and yes we live on just such an urbanisation here in Esuri
