HBG, you wouldn´t go back would you? After all these years, isn´t Spain as much a home as anywhere?

HBG, you wouldn´t go back would you? After all these years, isn´t Spain as much a home as anywhere?
The DTT will HMRC are involved and there is bound to be something in it for them so they will make sure it materiales's.

I would like to stay but certain factors beyond my control my dictate otherwise. Any possible future tax problems are not even the main surprises that may await me; I'm totally dependent on the exchange rate too.

And illness? The health system in Spain is excellent, apart from the lack of after-care. And if having family around during difficult times is helpful (and I think it is), then a return may also be hastened.

I would prefer to go home in the summer, though.
