Professional recognition under EU regs before the end of the year
Hi All
My wife and I are waiting for a resolution on our residency applications, which were submitted on our behalf by a lawyer using the online system, to be dealt with by extranjería in Seville.
I want to take advantage of the procedure for EU citizens to have qualifications recognised, which seems much easier and more efficient than the equivalent homologation process that non-EU citizens have to go through.
I've found the details -- here: Reconocimiento de Títulos obtenidos en la Unión Europea para el ejercicio de profesiones en aplicación de la Directiva 2005/36/CE | Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional
In the form, there's a field as follows 'A la profesión española de:', i.e.: 'to [convert to recognition of] the Spanish profession of:'
I hold BA, MA and PhD (yes perpetual student) and I might want to teach at university level or at high school level (I understand that might require additional pedagogical qualifications). So I would be inclined to put 'docente' or 'profesor' in this field, but I guess there must be an official list somewhere.
Does anyone on here have experience or knowledge of this process? If there's a gestoría somewhere that specialises in it then that would be good to know about.

I would be interested how you have progressed on this?
I am also in a similar predicament having to do this ‘professional recognition’ with my UK qualifications.
I am researching it at the moment working out how to proceed.
You might be interested in the info. at the following link which indicated this have extended the deadline to the 1st of July 2021.
