My friend who is applying for TIE (exisiting resident) cannot get the online modelo 790 to accept the 12€ payment in the Ingreso - Importe Euors box - any suggestions please? Thanks

Ignore the self liquidation box. Simply click on the required box for obtain TIE and the form should automatically fill in the 12 euro amount, its the bottom box in TIE sections

OK thanks - I have passed this on but he says that is what he has been doing but I have now discovered he is using Firefox - so he will either try Edge browser and/or try his tablet. I know browsers can work (or not!) differently on some online sites.

OK he got it to work -

Glad they are sorted, I use Linux but I may have used the tablet when I completed 790 for wifes application.

How ridiculous that in 2020 there are still sites which will only render faithfully in one specific browser, not infrequently that's Internet Explorer!

The French in particular seem wedded to it.
