I think tis more down to you not liking the fact i've "broke a rule" and now you are trying to give me a hard time. I didn't ask for business advice.. i asked for insights of prices and demand. So really i don't know where all this is coming from. |

I don't disagree, i am saying i haven't given research to that point yet, however i feel the effects shouldn't be that much on what i have now. Granted i may be wrong, but i'd like to find out for myself, not be told i am wrong.

You said you were researching what business you could run best in Spain, then halfway through the thread you decide you are a student doing a paper on it.:confused: |

I didn't ask if the business is viable. I've been thinking about business ideas for spain for a while, so i can move out and make a living, personally whenever i'm visiting, typical english food goods cost a fortune, i haven't been to mainland spain in a while, so i'm unsure to how true this is now. Yes, i'm a student, at Coventry University. In my final year, starting in September, i will need to do a "project", in which you research an area, and produce a report - this is spread throughout the final year. I feel, the import/export of British goods would be a good topic to base this report, as it clearly requires a great depth of research, it involves the need to opinions on products and prices, however i have not decided, i do have other subjects, which i may choose instead. I also feel, if i find that a business within this market would be viable, then perhaps i would open some sort of business, as stated in the first post. |
Re: Prices of British goods
You can make money selling British Food stuffs in Spain.
I did for 2 years, good money at that. Buy for 50p sell for a quid as you put it!! In fact some lines that the local shops sold for 5€ I was selling for €3, in the hundreds, and still making 800% yes EIGHT HUNDRED PER CENT profit. It's not WHAT you know...it's WHO you know. |
