Re: Places To Go, Things To Do
We just dropped of a load of stuff at Alladin´s Cave in Tavira. (dvd´s, 2 coffeetables, some lamps). It´s the former Tavira auctionhouse, run by Steve and Millie. It seems to work, you make a list, drop it off, they´ll take 15% for themselves and 60 days after you go to collect your money.
The other place to bring 2nd hand goods in Tavira is Ali Baba, but the guy in there was way too rude for my sensible taste. He offered 70 € for everything we had, about a third of what I had in mind, so I made a counteroffer and he shouted his offer was "NON-NEGOCIABLE!!" And then offered 50 € instead of the original 70 € .... We left.

Not sure if this has been posted already before, but after the success of the summer handicraft markets the Ayuntamiento have decided to have a monthly arts&crafts market. Every 1st Saturday of the month on Laguna square, so this Saturday the first one from 10 to 2.
Also, if you´re a craftsperson (Angiescarr?) come down to talk to the organisation to get a stall for the future markets, they´re not expensive.

¡Hola! Jur,
I've checked the Tbag website and see that they are double booked for the 29.10.10. Would you know which booking will go ahead on that date - Huelva or IC?
Ta,
C

Hi all I have just sat down in Marco's and the poster on the door says TBAG Sunday afternoon 17/10-16.30 Bar-Restaurant La Cabra II Isla Canela so that is a third option.

"We might do one in the afternoon and Huelva at night. The gig on the beach (IC) depends a lot on the weather."

Anyone know of a good place to stay with some sort of secure parking between Salamanca and Valldolid . Not too expensive but with or near a restaurant.
