But to fair there is more for going than staying for us.
Hubby is looking forward to not to have work as long as he does now and relax a bit and as for me i would love to experience the new culture of a typical spanish village

I have days like that when I think are we doing the right thing but i made my mind up 2 years ago that when my husband took his redundancy which he did in summer we would go. We have not got a lot to lose now and am looking forward to it, it beats driving home from work in fog.
Good luck

We have the same attitudes, we have nothing to lose we sold everything and am not worried about losing what we do not have.
My only fear is learning the language and making sure my girls are happy.
We started with nothing when we first bought a house in the uk and built up from that the same can happen again (i hope ha ha)
We also know it will be very hard work, with missing family and not being able to hold a full conversation. Hubby is aware we will be on a lot less money (god am i doing the right thing ha ha) talking myself out of it :scared:
No seriously we know it is the right move and are very happy with that decision.

I once used a prescription to get pain killers from the chemists, and rather than paying for the prescription, you get discount off the price of the item you are buying. I got them for about half usual price. I could have equally gone in without a prescription and bought the same thing but would have had to pay full price.

Its amazing how things make you think, we have the funeral this Friday and fly our Sat for 17 days, a trip arranged a couple of months back, so it won't be easy leaving family. I have just wound up my business which did very well but lots of stress. But deep down we know we can make it there if only a simpler way, we have no mortgage and have money for a couple of years, but yes its definatley scary as the time gets nearer. We hope when we are back there next week that we will be back to some normality and some of our worries relieved as everytime we leave to come back to the UK my wife sobs like a baby.

Hubby has been working really hard, i have felt a bit like a single parent the last few months, as we still need cash over there for a bit.
As for Xmas he has only got christmas day off. I am not happy but i know we have to do it ready for Jan when we leave.
What part of Spain are you moving to.

We are moving to the Ricote Valley in Murcia, its stunning place, Murcia has great infastructure, roads and hospitals, we have a five bed finca in the mountains, yet we are only 25 mins from Murcia city with its new retail parks, Ikea etc so really happy with the area. We researched the whole of Spain and traveled a fair bit, but this area ticked all the boxes for us.

Anyway if I don't do it I will end up like my parents having regrets at not doing things.
