Absolutely.
A thread is opened about an Indian topic - whether it's the dreadful story of the girls being raped and hanged or the woman 'honour' killed by her family on the court steps, you supply an Indian insight and are slagged off for it. You seriously have to question some peoples thought processes. It appears that unless you say exactly what they want to hear and nothing else you are completely wrong and should shut up. Actually the 'honour' killing on the court steps was in Pakistan!!! A different country. (I know you knew that) and it does happen in India and UK also. The difference being there is a general 'outcry' and investigation. Do we have any expats in Pakistan contributing to the Forum in general? That would be interesting. |

Thanks for that.

I doubt they would be in a frame of mind to comment as their focus will be on emigrating , just as it is for all of us with a view to moving very far away. |
Re: PDT v TIO
Bipat I do not think you need worry anymore about the *odd " views from some of your protaganists.
Some are no longer around, or will not post on TIO. |

Re: PDT v TIO
Bit of a shame this has happened. It's going to make the Spain forum so quiet.
I was away for a while came back and couldn't find any of the interesting threads. Then realised that about 15 of them had been moved to this TIO forum, which I had never even heard of. What's that all about ! Maybe it's an attempt to kill off the Spain forum as we are too outspoken :-( |

Spain was an anomaly though in being given its own version of TIO. Previously, all country forums came to TIO to have those kinds of discussions.
Ooh, sorry, that's a bit bigger than I was expecting. |
Re: PDT v TIO
Just to clarify, I moved about 4 threads .... not 15. Unless they've been multiplying behind my back. I blame the sangria :D

Sue, you've been away too long it's Jammie Dodgers. Can you get them over there?
Just wondering like but do miss or can you get things like Fig Rolls, Abbey Crunch. Gypsy Creams, Chocolate Bourbons, Ginger Nuts etc. ? Personally I don't get the appeal of a 'cookie' Too soft, too big and stale next day. |

Re: PDT v TIO
and we will take a short pause in proceedings for an advertising break.
many/most things are available via British Corner Shop (haven't seen their ad here recently). Yes it is more expensive than nipping to your local Morrison's but quite honestly I buy most of the locally made alternatives. Just really miss a mint chocolate bar since Mercadona stopped selling them. Presumably because they weren't selling. Except they always seemed to be running out. |

http://casualaggro.files.wordpress.c...9-07_00002.jpg Ooh, sorry, that's a bit bigger than I was expecting. We find that the teckies have carried out a planned maintenance visit, buggered it all up, left us with a super slow website - and yet they still allow piccies of that size. no justice in life :( |
Re: PDT v TIO
Jimmie Rodgers, now there was a man who could yodel! Please send this thread over to TIO forthwith!
