Problem with Paypal and adding a new card to my account.

Issued with new debit card this week, old one stolen see other posting, so tried to change my details and had conflicting help from 4 different people at Paypal, english and spanish help lines.
One says it can be done and to wipe out my old card details and install new ones, didn't work. Last one said it wont work because I have a UK bank account and card ( LLoyds TSB ) and a Spanish billing address.
It worked before for the year I have lived here and now I am told they are not doing it that way anymore, need a Spanish bank card.

I Have a Unicaja Maestro card which Paypal wont recognise, they say I need Visa or Master card.

So what do I do and if I have to get new Spanish card how do I get one and will it cost me?

Do I have to open another account or can I ask the bank for a different type of card?

As per my advice of EF, you can apply for a visa card on the internet - just try Google.es. You don't need to open a new bank account

I have a Nationwide credit card with a Spanish address registered on Paypal, can't remember how I did it though!! Nationwide are good as they don't charge extra fees for using overseas.

I have just remembered how I did this. You have to go to Pay Pal Spain and register with them any card. When you have done this and pay for an item on the UK site it automatically then goes to Pay Pal Spain to pay for it. Hope this helps.
