When we were visiting Nerja we were approached by a timeshare person about going to a presentation and she said that they were not selling just spreading the word. We declined and she tried to pressurise us until we said that we do not bring our credit card on holiday. She was shocked at this statement and quickly backed away so maybe inadvertantly we have hit on the way of deterring them.

Who knows, they really are a different breed!!!!

i went to the heritage resort one and i had a great day.
yes i had to lie and say i was a homeowner etc etc etc but you get free stuff and that was a bonus also it was raining on that day so i kept nice and dry xxxxxx
also the sales rep was very yummy

Or pretend you speak English very badly and ask them to keep repeating themselves...

Or don't dress like a tourist.
