you tend to see the mums & little ones in parks or sitting outside a bar while the kids play, just after 9am, when they've taken the older ones to school, and just after the end of the school day
I have seen here & on other forums in the past, similar questions, always with the same sort of reply
some enterprising british mums seem set up groups for themselves once they settle in in Spain
in many areas, school starts at 2 and a half, so maybe there's just not much need?

Thanks very much!
I think I will be one of those moms who start a group! I am a teacher so it isnt too scary! Im just really struggling to decide between Calvia and Alaro area. I want my kids to be part of a community, with loads of kids around, so Calvia seems the obvious choice, but other people say Alaro is gorgeous.
Im a little apprehensive about the fact that my daughter is going to be attending school in Spanish, but know its the best way to learn the language and make friends quickly. Shes only 5 now, so she has 6 months in the country before she starts school, which might help.
I am coming out there in two weeks time to look at some schools, but if anyone knows of any good schools in both areas, names would be greatly appreciated.
thanks aplenty!
