Paradors
In the pub last night (Not always the most reliable source I know), the landlord said Paradors were offering significantly reduced rates December January. Has anyone any info? Much obliged.

Yes they sent me an email with info on discounts but I deleted it so can't quote. However a discount from a Parador price is still €50-80.

You can go on the e-mail list and receive all their offers. Had one last week and some were 60 euro for a double room. Also had some 2 day stay offers.

You will find the lowest offers are for places that are never busy during this period.

Well, the one on El Tiede in Tenerife is still at least €300 for a three-night stay
in December. There is a "friends of the parador" scheme for regular visitors that
offers discounts. maybe that's what he's referring to?
