Default Palma de Mallorca bottled drinking water

Hey all, does anyone know where/if we can get drinking water bottles that are larger than the 5L ones they sell in supermarkets. Ideally delivered. Thanks

I would imagine so. They do have water coolers in Spain don't they? We get 5 gallon ones refilled for the equivalent of 25pence. That's filtered, UV'd for germs etc and can be delivered for a little more. In our case there are 6 water filling stations within a 5 minute drive so refuse to pay the 75pence they wanted to deliver!
I'm sure someone in Majorca will be along to answer your question with local knowledge.

I see that distance does not deter you.

Are you looking for the actual water *bottles*, or for large(r) quantities of potable water to be delivered to your home?

If the former, no idea. If the latter, there are a fair few links thrown up via usual search engines; Spanish is one's friend when searching ...

AlCampo and carrefour have 8l bottles (both are cheaper per litre than lidl). There is a place across the street from lidl in the poligono de Levant near IKEA that delivers commercial quantities. You may need a CIF to get a contract, not sure.

Dear Quiltman,

Sorry I responded in haste. You had made a valid point.

Bottled water and water coolers could not be more topical! 4000+ people suffer Noro Virus.

I think you may find that water is for the catering industry to use in coffee machines and is not suitable for drinking as water.

Well, they are the local distributor for Bastida, which is most definitely drinking water (sold mainly to restaurants and hospitality), as well as a few other brands. I admit I don't know any more than you, but it was just a suggestion for larger quantities. You really don't know until you know.
