Surely just a propaganda scare tactic by Germany, the UK and the US because they are all jealous of Spain's weather, our great economy, the low traffic and nice drivers.

Nice drivers! You must be joking. I've never come across such a bunch of idiots when they get behind the wheel. They are nice people. Their driving is not.

The worst traffic on a Spanish motorway at holiday time is nothing near as bad as an average day on the M25 in London ... It's all relative!

For this week's puente we usually get loads of people down from Madrid and the North, visiting their families, going hunting or just enjoying warmer weather. Today though it is pissing down! We are supposed to be having a family pig roast tomorrow, but the hole we dug for the fire has filled with water. Ho hum ...
