Yes, its pretty good. What is interesting is seeing the different dynamic between the shows in the UK, US and Spain

The Spanish are much more fun than the other nationalaties and normally they get on very well with each other at work, except for the poor cook who gets blamed for everything. Lack of organisation and management is usually at fault, especially when the management knows nothing about food

The US were much more serious and business like, but those in trouble were usually deluded about the quality of their food. They usually lap up Ramsey's advice though

In the UK, the owners usually had a problem accepting what Ramsey said because they had authority and personable problems

All the UK and US restaurants had a fully trained chef with assistents etc, the Spanish ones just have a lowly (usually immigrant) cook - but that could be because the UK and US restaurants are on a much bigger scale

And the types of restaurants they go to in Spain tend to be much smaller than in the other countries, with just one lowly paid (usually immigrant) cook, and loads of waiters

Just been watching the following first part. Seem to be quite a few in the kitchen. But they definitely seem to be enjoying themselves at work too much. And they seem genuinely surprised that Chef can easily find fault with their offerings. Btw, Is the Chef - Alberto Chicote - another of those celebrity chefs who doesn't always make money from his restaurants?

Yes that was a good episode. I liked the crazy waitress, she had the energy of a 5 year old. You dont get people like that on the UK and US shows

The owners didnt have a clue about restaurants, the wife invested all her gymnast money into the business and the husband was a coke head b*llsh*tter. The only serious one was the Polish manager

They got on really well though and were serious once Chicote got his message across

Yes the chef has x number of michelin stars etc. I have no idea if his retaurants make money

having watched Ramsey in the US I think some of them could do with a week working in some of my local bars and restaurants, especially the short order places run as family businesses
the guy runs the ordering, the bar, etc and wife/daughter does the cooking. The two don't get in each other's way and seem to work well as a team.

The ego's on display in these programmes make Ramsey look like a puppy.
The size of some of the menu's

The BBC (?) had a prog on cleanliness in food establishments with visiting EHO's which made you feel sick.
Someone wondered why I go round the back and buy the chef a drink whilst looking over the kitchen
