My partner is currently thinking of investing in a buisness with his brother.
They are both Spanish. His brother currently lives in Malaga and we live in London.
They are considering Gran Canaria for their new venture, as they have both lived there before.
They are both chefs and have experience in this area.
Their idea is to rent a premises to open up a chicken shop..
by chicken we mean a la KFC.. but nicer ( hopefully haha)
The area could be las palmas.
I guess i'd like your opinons... having never visited Las Palmas myself. Is it over run with chicken shops?
Is there a demand for this style of food? all year round?
any advice on the practicalities of opening a buisness in Gran Canaria would be good too, We are looking at the equipment needed to run this type of shop also, and currently considering where is best to buy this type of equipment ( chicken fryers, rotisseries for whole chickens, chip fryers, fridges for drinks etc)
This is all in the very much thinking stages atm, so throw at me all opinions...
I'd really appreciate them!
Los pollos hermanos a la Gran Canaria could be a possibility in the near future

Thank you

I would have thought as they are both native Spanish speakers etc it would be far easier for them to do all this research.

Like a British chicken and chips style place? I don't know if Spaniards are into those kind of places, maybe someone will correct me. Las Palmas is the capital, not many British compared to the southern part of the Island, the resorts etc.

Re chicken shops like KFC, we cannot recall ever having seen one in Las Palmas, but it's a big city, well worth a visit, we go there several times a year, only a 50 minute flight from here.
