Fantastic achievement!!
Well done!!!
But perhaps we should have expected great things from someone who sorted out his job and accommodation without the negativity we normally get here.... Anyway you mentioned you missed good fry-ups for breakfast, so if you're ever in the London area I'll treat you to a good old British breakfast!!!
Find that a bit harder to believe though. All those mountains? I think I'd wimp out rather early on. Which makes your achievement even more praiseworthy..

Absolutely amazing. I tell you something as well. Spain definately had to be the best country to cycle through.

Well done Andrew, although to be fair I actually think you are completely nuts! Bloody Yorkshire folk... my dad always said they weren't right in the head! I still have that song in my head you know mate....

Thanks guys
I can barely believe i've done it myself. I actually really enjoyed doing it, and once im back at work in Gibraltar I just know I'm going to be looking back on the days where it was just me, the bike, the open road and an incredible goal and miss it!
Since getting to Yorkshire its been nuts. All the local press have really taken up the story and have been so interested. Have done a number of radio interviews and i'm in all the local papers so have been needing to speak to them. Not had a huge amount of rest time haha!

Once again, well done Andrew.
Enjoy the flight back, will be a lot easier than the trip there !!! Whats happening with the bike ???? Are you leaving it in Yorkshire ??? Or, keeping it as a reminder of the days spent cycling all that way ??

mrsjdr,
I brought the bike back. Ryanair was a bit of a nightmare though and it ended up costing a small fortune. Bike just needs a service (its got over 3000km on its clock now with all the training on it before hand) and its good to go for the next run
So yup, just need to rebuild the bike now (assuming it wasnt broken in transit.. I havnt dared checked yet) and ill be back out for day rides and stuff.
Absolutely sensational trip it was. Very strange to be back in my apartment again after being gone a month. Nice to be back in a warmer climate too
Thanks guys
Andrew
