Saw a cartoon in the Telegraph today. Old guy is banging the top of his TV and says he thinks it is broken because we haven't had a gold for 20 mins:lol:

It now seems it's not just the bikes - it's the pillows!

Apparently David Brailsford insists that they all take their own pillows from home to sleep on while they are away to ensure that they get a good nights sleep and don't suffer from "Strange Bed Syndrome".

It was Laura Trott's father that said that this morning in a BBC interview. I think he said they also take their matresses but that sounds a bit more complicated logistically but anything is possible.

They wouldn't need to cheat, certainly not Alistair, he's a crack! As I said, the silver, Gómez, is a fine athlete as well, but he struggles against those two. He was well pleased with silver, I read his blog, he's an incredibly popular athlete, especially with the women.

And gold for Charlotte Dujardin in the individual dressage event - she even used Land of Hope and Glory as part of her music. She got an Olympic record score of just over 90% and has only been competing at the highest level for 18 months. We also got bronze in that event.

i applaud the young, brillant lady and would not like a right hander from her, but I was surprised that she came from a soft place.

Don't get so het up. If he was writing here rather than in The Guardian he would be called a troll. Ignore him - he likes your reaction.
