Default Nurofen Plus Recall

On the off chance any of you do not watch UK TV

Just to let anyone who like me picked up some Nurofen plus in Gibraltar recently to take them back as they have recalled them in the UK for possible contamination with anti psychotic drugs.

On a separate and more important matter in my opinion Supersol should recall their caracolas which I used to love (previously contained just raisins and walnuts) for chocolate contamination!

There is (so far) no question of contamination of the drug itself.

The packets may contain the wrong drugs in completely different, well marked blister packs.

If the drugs inside say Nurofen then that's OK.

Obviously they are recalling them as there is always the possibility that the person may be blind, can't read or not very bright.

I understand there is now a second drug found in a Nurofen packet so all product has been pulled rather than the batches that had originally been advertised.

there would appear to be nothing wrong the product itself, just that when opening the outer packet the wrong product is inside.

as these spurious drugs are not even made at the Nurofen plant there would appear to be no reason for this to happen except by human intervention either within the plant or in the supply chain.

aha...not real snails. These are from the bakers, like a swirly cake which used to have just raisins and walnuts but now chocolate too

product development ?
meeting a defined or perceived need ?

are you complaining or just stating a fact ?
walnuts would be the more worrying due to some people having reactions, but then that leaves more walnuts for me ..

was a time when hotels used to have plain bread rolls for breakfast now they pastry rolls with chocolate in them
