Leroy Merlin opens for business in Murcia
A brand new Leroy Merlin superstore opened its doors on Wednesday 4th October in Parque Mediterraneo, the new retail park on the outskirts of Cartagena. Leroy Merlin, specialists in home furnishings and DIY supplies, has invested €4.3 million in the superstore, which occupies a whopping 8,300 square metres, employs 150 people and sells over 40,000 items. It will open from 10am to 10pm Monday to Saturday. info from http://www.kingdom-homes.com/news/20...siness-in.html

What I was actually looking for was a wood yard where you can go in and get pieces of wood ripped to size - Leroy's is okay if you want standard wood at standard lengths but I need odd sizes and not planned fresh cut wood - thanks anyway

To be avoided if possible, timber 'and most anything else' will cost about 2 times the price of timber from a timber yard (Almacen de maderas) or hardware shop (Ferreteria) if needing hardware. In saying this they do sometimes have the odd bargain... but it is an odd one and won't be on timber unless you maybe want cheap tongue and grooved decorative flooring that can be on offer at times, so go to an Almacen de maderas in the area for price and timber quality.
