Default Nasty bitey things......

Oh nuts, it's that time of year again (At least round here anyway )
Darn tiny little flying thingies that bite like mozzi's & itch for DAYS.
I hate them
Any bright idea's how to kill the little b*stards, with out spraying the place with DDT that is (I have tropical fish to think of).

get some of those plug ins, and if you ae getting bitten, then instead of itching, get to the farmacia and ask for Cetirizina tablets, don't be fobbed off with alercina as they cost an arm and leg, but get Cetrizina. Costs are usually about €7 for 7 tablets for Alercina, and €4 for 20 tablets Cetirizina, each are one a day tablets.

what about taking a form of garlic? Hubby takes codliver oil with odourless garlic in and doesn't ever get bothered with bites. Also don't need to give the dog Chemical flea treatment as long as he gets a regular dose of curry!!

Has anyone else down south seen or been bitten by a tiger mosquito?

It looks like this...

http://www.extertronic.com/repellent-insect-bite.htm

It is from Asia (a leaflet came through our door) and it has previously been responsible for an outbreak of dengue fever in Italy...

Nice...
