Default Music instruction. - Can it be casual or on a business basis

Hope to be arriving in Spain next year (in a long let)and giving Music instruction on stringed instruments. Because this will be maybe a couple of sessions per week, evenings or during the day. My question is this, would I have to set it up as a business (with all that would entail) or could I run it purely a casual basis. That is cash payments without bookwork, i.e. relatively small turnover. I am assuming that there might be a cut off point with regard to turnover before tax etc and would have to be registered as a bonofied business.
Appreciate any comments, not expecting a great financial return as I am in retirement and don't need a great financial reward for the Music instruction.

Thank you
Munsterman.
