NO-ONE, not even the UK Government, knows what will happen about ANYTHING when the UK leaves the EU.

Why?

Plenty of nationalities from outside the EU own property in Spain. It is not a condition of property ownership that you are a citizen of an EU member state. People from outside the EU are relatively free to come and go on the back of their national passport.

I mean really.....what are we all scared of?

Just a little small point...it is united kingdom leaving eu not just england

The thread title is "Moving to Spain", and OP mentions residency.


Brexit may well not prevent us from buying a holiday home/rental, but length of stay is also a consideration. Every country has a time limit on tourist/visitor visas, and outside the EU other types of visas apply for longer stays or for other purposes eg work.
