Default Moving to the North of Spain

I am living on the Costa del Sol and am thinking of moving to the north around the Roses area (north of Barcelona).

Can anyone recommend a good estate agent for a house purchase in the area? Or maybe someone has a house/apartment for sale/swop.

Can you still get Sky TV in the area?

Cheers ........................ Gerry N

I toyed with the idea of moving North for a while - and was captivated by the Roses area. You should still be able to get a sky dish installed if you wish but I do not know what the quality will be like.

Sky is no different in the north as it is in the south. Having spent *** years (on & off) in Roses I cannot see the attraction of moving there, in comparison to the south. For starters it shuts in the winter? Secondly they (Catalans) don't welcome foriegners like the south do. IMO.

Like everyone says on here, it is best to rent out for 6 months first to see if you like the area.

Once you buy it could take you years to sell if you dont like it.

Roses is in Girona, a very Catalan area. You would (almost) be moving to another country, so it may not be what you expect.
