Default Moving House

Hi, I am in the process of moving to another area but staying in the same province, do I have to go to the local police and inform them regarding my NIE?

Your NIE stays with you wherever you go within Spain. No need to inform anybody.

If you are a resident and registered on the foreigner list (ie you have the green form) you need to visit them again and change your address. If you are on the local Padron, you need to sign on again at the new location and they will cancel your padron at your current location. You can also change the address on your Spanish driving licence and car registration details at the same time. Not all town halls offer this service but there is a list here Ayuntamientos con convenio

Yes, they will assign a new doctor and make the address change.
