I might be moving to Vigo or Pontevedra in the summer. I have a few questions.
  1. What is the night life like in those cities?
  2. Are there any expats around 20-40 years old?
  3. Is there enough to keep a person who enjoys a lively nightlife busy?
  4. Are there nice parks for running?

That's enough for now!

Thanks in advance

I doubt there are any expats at all based on those cities. There may be a few British people married to Spaniards or working as English teachers but I bet there are no more than ten in each city, and who knows whether they would like to hang around with other British people

Ive been to Vigo and Pontevedra on my travels, and although Pontyvedra is probably the more lively of the two I wouldnt necessarily say they are going to suit the lifestyle you mention.

There are of course parks abound, and you can run around the city walls in Vigo. Take your waterproofs

Thanks.

Is there any sort of nightlife scene there at all? I don't really mean all night parties or that but just a good social scene I can try and fit into!

All Spanish cities have a nightlife scene to some degree

Small Northern cities will probably be bit like Oviedo where I live. People go out between Thursday-Saturday in the small hours of the morning 11pm-6am usually around a cluster of streets in the old town

Of course you will need some Spanish friends to do so. And be young - under 35 certainly.
