Most of my Spanish friends don't enjoy the work life balance in Spain.
I guess i can wait bit longer to get a better offer (better company) and not rush .... I do understand you cant have everything so you need to balance it. Either crap weather and good work or crap work and good quality of life...

Even if the company in Barcelona is international? And they dont always send you abroad so if you just wait for that it might never happen..

Quality of life depends on the individual and even when it comes to weather, all people are different. Look at the people living in Andorra and even those who don't enjoy their job or get annoyed of the weather, would rather be there than in some crowded city etc. For me quality of life is also having my own garden, or not paying rent.

Another thing you have to investigate is taxation. Once you become tax resident (183 days in one year) in a European country you might find that you have to pay tax not only on your local income but also on assets and income in the UK. It is important to understand the tax rules because if you make a mistake you can get fined years later.
