I have always said that Spanish TV is bad, but some of the programmes on British TV are pretty grim too.

I have just seen "take me out" on ITV.

Corny and cringeworthy rubbish, but is it the worst on the box?

We have all kinds of mod cons in Spain now, you know, like electricity, cars, TVs, mobile phones......the list is endless.

Not a great deal unlike some of RugbyMits posts.

What's unusual about that? Reading a few "brits in Spain" forums, they are full of threads on UK TV, they seemingly can't get enough. Mini Joddrel Banks scattered all over their properties so they can get their daily dose of Corrie and East Enders, Big Brother etc! Forums are full of stuff on sky cards, how to get iplayer etc. They watch ten times more UK TV than I do!
Oh! No, never seen your ITV programme, but it should come as no surprise, the stuff they push out.

The question was as though it is not right to watch TV in Spain or something, what his reasoning behind that question is a mystery to me.

This person is not a Brit though Actually never heard of the programme and I consider myself British. However I have an on/off swith on my telly

I don`t know any Spaniards that watch UK TV, but after watching Spanish TV I can see how they could easily be converted.

I know some who use the VO function on the TDT box to help them improve their english!
