Smile more british

hi
i,ve recently moved to spain with my family and came to an area that is not suitable for us, it is more of a retirement village and not many children around. We are a family of 6, me, husband, a 23, 20, 17, and 13 year old, we are looking to settle down in an area where there is prospects for work and setting up a business. We are very sociable and like mixing with other peopl. We are also looking to rent long term, does anyone know of an area and of any propertys!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks

where are you now?
Spain is a huge country

where I live it is very International, and it doesn't get too quiet in winter

there are International schools in the town & nearby, if that's the route you are taking with your youngest

downside is that a property to rent around here big enough for your family will cost an arm & leg

A lot depends on what you are really looking for ,I`d say the younger members will be keen for night life , beaches etc? but are they seriously going to learn spanish?very few bother,so Costa del Sol my be the way, Marbella /Benalmadena/Toramolinos etc ,,not my cup of tea but hundreds of thousands of ex pats there! What business are you thinking of?
