Hate butterflies, have fear of them, so glad I was not with jdr when he saw it!

When you consider the size of the balustrade the Spanish one is on, i don`t think there is much span size difference. ;-)

Now this is a fear that I find fascinating.

I can understand being afraid of snakes, of spiders, even of birds, (thanks to Hitchcock) Dogs, horses, anything that in some way can injure you.

But fear of butterflies puzzles me, as I find it hard to see how they can be seen as a treat.

Hard to explain, but all fluttery and fragile, I fear they are going to "break up" all in my hair etc., silly I know

While a fear may be irrational, it doesn't make it any the less real for the sufferer.

I was just trying to work out what was threatening. Thanks for that.
