I wonder if anyone could help me! We are coming over to Spain 18th February for a few days and need to hire a car from Valencia Airport...Does anyone have any idea how we can hire a car without a credit card?? We have debit cards but dont have a credit card Any help appreciated..Thanks

We had this problem a couple of years ago, but found a company called Bruno's car hire who met us at Jerez airport and knew we had no credit card.
It was really cheap to.

Have you tried asking them?
I emailed in advance and got conformation that it would be ok without a credit card, mind you, this was 2 years ago.
Also, when we hired a car at Girona airport, we managed that with a debit card.

Yes I was asking them.
They sad:
"we have to say sorry, but payment only by credit card"

Maybe You know any familly company which rent a car by a cash??

Do a search of the forum,as ime sure this has been brought up before,Ime sure someone has posted a car hire company not requiring credit cards

OK, well I have flown in and hired in Valencia on many occasions and I was always asked for a credit / debit card. They like to have your details in case you do any damage to the car or get traffic violations
