I have read it. The couple (author and wife) lived in La Xara but I believe they are now in Alicante.

Thank you Mitzyboy and Martha, I have now got google earth, it is quite amazing, I have found my Sisters area although the definition is not great.
It appears she is right by the national park so she should have a good view of the Montgo, it looks a nice area.
Thankyou.

Silverchick, I appreciate your response, the book sounds really good, I have sourced it on Amazon for £3.11 new, I will order it for my Sister to give her some background about the area.

Thanks again to all for your help and guidance, I feel much happier about my sisters move now and feel I know a whole lot more about the region and area, she goes in 7 weeks time and although I will be sad she is no longer near me, I will have the opportunity to come to your lovely country and see it for myself.
Maybe if she gets stuck on anything Spanish in the future I can visit again for your advice.

Good luck to you all.
