Money laundering ?
#1
Just been out to remove some clothes from the washing machine and as I opened the door a 50e and a 5e note fell to the floor.
On removing the clothes there were 3 more notes loose in the machine, two 20 euros and another 5.
After first dismissing the thought that I might be the lucky owner of a magic machine that printed money, I realized that I'm getting more than a little bit careless in old age.
Apart from being damp the notes are in perfect order with no sign at all of any damage.
It is said that virtually all paper money has traces of narcotics from previous owners, so I suppose I must now possess some of the cleanest well laundered money in circulation.

So thats the reason.
I couldn't understand why they'd all been through a full wash yet came out perfect and undamaged.
Probably smell a bit sweeter as well if the stink of baccy, booze and drugs has been replaced with the aroma of lavender fabric conditioner.
Puts my mind at rest also, knowing that all those millions I have buried out in the campo won't be too badly affected by a bit of damp.

Thanks for the tip.
I know a couple of places where I can find a good home for them.

Can't believe it. I took a couple of sheets out of the washing machine this morning and out popped two more banknotes.
Thought I'd checked it properly yesterday including the seals.
Beginning to think I really have a magic money printing machine.

My machine only coughs up buttons, stones, bits of twig, a couple of conkers and even a Barbie doll once..... and of course the dreaded white tissue that stuck to everything black.

I sometimes find coins in the bed. Not the same thing, of course, although I suspect I may have a magic freckle.
