Mobile Phones while driving in Spain ?

At the corner of a road near where I live there are bunches of flowers tied to the railing. A lady of 67, passenger in a car driven by her husband, was killed when a taxi driver talking on his mobile and steering with one hand hit their car.

Yes, well said Lionda. The police are always made out to be the bad guys when they stop people who are talking on their phone, or speeding. But they aren´t the bad guys at all, are they?

I mean how many of us have never opend a bottle of drink or eat a sandwich while driving ?
or mums every day with there toddlers in the back turn round to tell them off ?
Or have fiddled around changing the radio or Tape or Cd etc..?
So depends on circumstance i feel. if its a quick sort of answer to the wife etc like "Yes gorgeous bum i got the volume3 Life in the Peak District DVD , on my way back now , see you in 10 minutes stick the kettle on " then no harm done surely ?
But if you fumbled around texting and stuff then that should entail a very lengthy prison sentance , say 5 years or so ...
